Tamaki Law of Central Washington

Blaine Tamaki Megan E. Hale joined Tamaki Law Offices in 2010. Originally from Chicago, she relocated to the Pacific Northwest to attend law school. Ms. Hale received her Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from Seattle University School of Law in 2009. She was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society in 2005 and earned her Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude, with a dual concentration in psychology and criminal justice from Indiana University-Bloomington in 2006.

During law school, Ms. Hale studied comparative torts in Bologna, Italy. She was a two-time research assistant for Seattle University’s Legal Writing Department. Ms. Hale also worked as a Law Clerk for a plaintiff’s litigation firm in downtown Chicago and later as a Rule 9 Intern for the Civil Commitment Division of the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

She received runner-up in the 2008 James E. Bond Moot Court Competition and went on to represent Seattle University in the 2008-2009 American Bar Association’s National Appellate Advocacy Competition (NAAC). Ms. Hale received a CALI Award for Excellence in Products Liability in 2008 and Family Dissolution and Related Issues in 2009. She was also a recipient of the Trustee Law Scholarship and Year End Achievement Scholarship.

Ms. Hale is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, the King County Bar Association, and an Eagle Member of the Washington State Association for Justice.

She has a strong interest in social justice and enjoys volunteering. In years past, Ms. Hale has twice participated in Habitat for Humanity. She also enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
