The United States Government decided to settle a pending wrongful death lawsuit rather than go to trial, in a case involving the Bureau of Indian Affairs' failure to properly supervise a tribal-member-owned logging company.  The plaintiffs alleged that the logging company failed to adhere to basic safety regulations that were standard within the industry, and were required by OSHA.  Tamaki Law represented the plaintiffs.
